Megan Wells grew up in the "suburbs" of Chicago. Life was lived outdoors in the alleys on bikes, on the banks of in the creek, and always bookended by climbing her beloved Apple Tree in her backyard.  Theater felt like "alleys" and "creeks" and 'trees" - a place to play with imagination while building life skills.  Megan entered the theater at 7 years old and is still there - learning and crafting words into storyboats for listeners to sail to the Land of Wisdom.  In the real world, she's received six national and regional awards for her work as a Storyteller, Director, Actress, and Playwright. She's been featured at the National Festival in Jonesborough 5 times, as well as many prestigious national and regional festivals. She is a sought-after story coach - lifting others into their authentic story power.  Megan is also a prolific Historical Portrayalist - with over 20 famous women in her repertoire of solo programs.
